Sometimes I feel a bit lazy and don't want to cook everything from scratch, so I have a few things in the fridge that are relatively quick to cook. As a vegetarian, I'm not usually that struck with meat substitutes, but this vegan steak actually tastes nice and is high in protein (13g) and not too bad carb-wise (also 13g). The brand is Plant Pioneers and I bought them in Sainsbury's chilled section.
I served it with slow cooked fried onions, a slice of halloumi and salad.

Your Vegan Steak looks really good, and a scrumptious colourful meal. Glad you enjoyed it. I love haloumi cheese - I like the consistency of it, a squeaky bite to it.
Yes it is, I really like it though! You've also reminded me of how tasty radishes are - I spotted them in your salad, and I must remember to get some next time I'm shopping.
