Hi I’m new here & have been reading all your posts and they have made me feel hopeful so I will try and log in regularly to follow all the news and tips & add my sixpence worth.

Love the funny happy post and the support shown & also those about grown up children & grandchildren as I’m about to become a Granny for the first time 🤗

I have struggled to keep weight off as when I have lost any, tend to become complacent & throw caution to the wind . Then start again !

Hope the thought of running after my little grandchild (due 11 March) will keep me motivated!! 🤣

Hello, I've just found you on the Christmas Countdown Challenge and replied to you there. Please follow the links I've given you so you can find your way around :)

What great motivation, having a little grandchild to chase, and a whole new experience for you - so much to look forward to :)

You may find this useful as an explanation of why weight loss becomes more difficult as we get older healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...

This follows on from that post and offers a way forward phcuk.org/wp-content/upload...

Hi, CEJones, welcome.

Have you been counting calories, or how have you lost weight?

If you "slim smart" weight loss is not so hard! It is not all about motivation and masochism.

Some of us here find that what works is a combination of The Low Carbohydrate, High-Fat (LCHF) diet (see the forum here on Health Unlocked) and Not Snacking All Day AKA Intermittent Fasting (IF). See:

Hi CEJones. So nice you are going to be a grandmother.

You will find so many pieces of advice and so much support to lose weight and keep it off.

As BridgeGirl also mentioned, there are weekly weight-ins, too, among many-many other events and challenges.

I would like to welcome you in the Sunday group if I may invite you. Open from 21:00 Saturday to 21:00 Sunday.
