hello this might sound daft but my partner wants to make a homemade indian chicken curry next week but he doesnt want to just buy the chicken then a jar of sauce he want to make the sauce his self but not sure what wee need for it a tryed looking it up on the internet but half the stuff a seen a have niver heard of just need a simple recipe😃

You could possibly follow one of the recipes you found but instead of all the various spices they mention, substitute Garam Masala powder (which all supermarkets stock). You'd need to keep adding small amounts until you got the sort of flavour you were looking for. Garam masala doesn't have any chilli in it so you would add enough chilli to get the heat you require.

Hairy dieters have a couple of good ones.
You could try buying spice paste, which you cook just enough so that it’s not raw, then add coconut milk, chopped tomatoes etc depending on what curry you’re making.
