Week one down and I've already made positive changes,

I'm on week two of couch 2 5k & my nutrition has been better not really drank anything other than water and in the first week I have lost 4lbs... considering I started over xmas and didn't wait until the new year I can really fault myself :)

I'm joining the gym on Tuesday too I tried to start last week but the Christmas times meant they would be shut after I finished work so decided to wait until it goes back to normal times!

Since xmas day I haven't been able to eat meat, it just makes me feel sick so I have been trying to eat without meat which is harder than I thought it would be!

Quick smoothie earlier helped out though, got me some nutrients I was lacking!

Good start! Hope 2018 is even better!

That's a great start Megan9 Well done on the loss, on starting the c25k and good luck with joining the gym.

I'm not sure why you would be feeling sick trying to eat meat but if it persists you should probably think about seeing your doctor.

Thank you very much! I'm looking forward to getting back into the gym :) & It's more just a mental thing, not eating meat...I watched a video on Facebook the other day and the guy was vegan and telling us why we shouldn't eat meat... it's more a mental than physical thing.

Hi Megan and congratulations on your progress. I agree with Tiggerr that if your reaction to meat continues then you should see your GP. It is not that eating meat is crucial, but getting a physical reaction to a food group could need checking out if it doesn't go away in the next few days. James
