Kicking K's mini challenge (sporting events)

Last Christmas My family and I did the Canine Partners 5K Humber Bridge fun run. It was to raise money for training assistance dogs for people like me. I've been on the waiting list for ages but I'm nearly at the top now.

The 5K run was a massive achievement for me. Just 5 months earlier, I could only propel myself about 500m on the flat. I trained really hard and lost a lot of weight and by December, I could do 5K, including some hills. Until we did this, I hadn't realised how much of a hill the Humber Bridge is.

congratulations on your achievement and hope you don't have to wait too long for an assistance dog- I am currently sponsoring my second guide dog. Since you have put a collage together I am giving you 600 points (200 for exercise which is an individual sport- Para athletics track event and 400 for charitable event)- I am impressed with the collage it doesn't seem to be from collage pic app!

Have you posted your km's cos I cannot find it unless I am going blind?

This is a fantastic entry, Finnberry . A great cause and it looks like your training had a huge impact on your health and fitness. What an achievement! 👏👏. My friend got an assistance dog last year and it has transformed her life. If it is an annual event, will you do it again this year? We'll all be cheering you on if you do! 😊

Not sure if they're doing it this year. If they do, I'm in.
