Hi, I began the NHS 12 week plan this week and I am super excited. I already do a lot of exercise - I attend 2 martial arts classes per week and 3 dance classes per week as well as walking to and from work each day (which is a 10 minute walk). So I don't think I can do too much more as far as exercise is concerned but I will put in the extra effort at martial arts and dance class as well but if necessary then I could fit in more.
Before I began this diet, what I ate was 90% unhealthy and fatty foods - not good! I also was eating around 2,500 calories a day which I would like to reduce. I currently weigh 10 and a half stone but I am only very short and I would like to lose around 6kg / a stone. Is this realistic? Any tips? Thanks. x

Hi welcome to the forum- its a realistic target since it is advised to loose 0.5-1kg per week and if you loose 1kg per week that will mean you will reach your target and ven if you only loose 0.5kg per week you will be just under your target weight loss by 1kg. You already have the exercise part of the weight loss plan sorted, though sometimes if you plateau its advised to shake things uop exercise and diet since your body gets used to it.
Thank you, very pleased to know that my goal is realistic. I feel a lot more motivated through using the forum and hopefully the rest of the diet will go as well as these first few days.
