Exam looming, calorie monster demanding appeasement

You lot are just lovely - I'm feeling a bit cravey this morning as I have an exam this afternoon and am feeling anxious. I'm planning on an egg and cress sandwich on wholemeal bread to eat with a cup a soup - not perfect but I will feel full and satisfied until late afternoon hopefully. I can always munch on pears and cherries and stuff if I feel the need. One thing I do know for sure is that hitting the self-destruct button to fix myself with food is not going to help me remember the tax treatment off Non-Qualifying Life Policies!! (I know, i know, it;s not exactly rock and roll, is it, but it pays the bills lol xx)

  • Oh my goodness b o n d s! That sounds horrific! I doubt whether pizza, chips and ice-cream could help with that one! :o

I think your soup, sandwich and fruit sounds like a far better option! :)

Wishing you all the best with the cravings and the tax dilemma! :D

  • Hi Bringondaskinny :)

That sounds quite healthy to me, you're making sensible choices and are being thoughtful about what you consume. I think that's great. :)

Good luck and well done. ;)

  • Well done for making a healthy choice, I hope your exam went well. 🙂

  • Hi there,

Thank you for the support. Exam was fine, I did pants!!! I just couldn't nail some of the tougher scenario tax and trusts questions. But when I saw the FAIL marker come up, I refused to listen to the gnawing roaring calorie monster inside that wanted comforting. I simply drove back, told my boss, who was actually quite sweet about it all, and got on with it WITHOUT Binge eating!!! Did I feel like it? Yes. But I didn't act on it. WIN!!! x

  • Woohoo, wtg you! :)
