Friday weigh in

Last week 12.5st, this week 12.6st. Haven't really eaten much this week due to stress and kept up the exercise so quite surprised I didn't lose anything. Anyway many thanks for the kind messages re my mum, it's been very worrying and today we find out whether it has spread and what treatment to have. I hope everyone else's week is going well ☺

  • Sorry you didn't lose but stress is a recognized factor in preventing weight loss. Also not eating enough will slow down or stop weight loss. Hope all goes well with your mum and that the news is as good as it can be x

    I agree with Annde70 about stress often preventing or impeding weight loss. I think you've done well to keep to your exercise this week, and I hope you are able to eat a bit more too, as it sounds like the worry about your MUm has understandably affected your appetite.

    I hope her appointment goes well today, and sening you a virtual hug (((( juliet444 )))), and thinking of you both today.

    My week is a bit hectic so far, and I have started my time of the month today, so having period pains, but hoping that I'll feel better later. I've taken a couple of pain relief tablets so hopefully those will help.

  • Hope everything is going well for your mum. I'm new on here so I'm just getting to know you all. When you're stressed you can't concentrate on eating the right things. Anyway different factors cause us to gain weight. Weighing at different times, different clothes, standing on the scales in a different position, I know mine does that. What's a pound between friends.
