Need a body to match my face and feet!

Good afternoon, Batesy here! Joined up a while ago and obviously didn't do anything! But now my backside is fully into gear and getting fit, healthy, lose weight which should help improve my fybromyalgia and depression. Doing this for my poor hardly walked dogs, my 5 year old daughter who desperately wants me to take her swimming and because at the grand old age of 41 I have become a grandmother! So failure is not an option :)

Welcome and good luck on your weight loss journey! Both walking and swimming are excellent exercise! Nothing makes me feel better than walking the dogs in the fresh air and then having a nice healthy meal. You will find lots of help, guidance and support on here.

Sounds like you're doing just fine to me Batesy, I need body, face, feet and everything else to match Twiggy ;)

Sounds like you're ready for the challenge now! I have fibromyalgia too and I think diet can play an important part. And well done on being a grandmother!

Hi Batesy, you sound upbeat and motivated at the moment; hope you can stay focused on those very good reasons you have for getting back in control of your health, and watch those ounces, then pounds and then stones disappear! Use an online calorie counter to take the effort out of following a healthy eating plan, and keep as active as you feel able. Have some distractions like knitting or reading or playing with your little one, for those times of day when you habitually snack. Good luck!

Hi. Just joined recently. There are some lovely walks around the area. Think I am not far from you. We are lucky. Love walking my dog, that's my best exercise. Keep motivated and good luck.
