slow loss


Feeling a bit despondent today, no weight loss, I think it's because I am so stressed, my husband is undergoing tests and I just can't stop thinking about this, food is taking second place, not really looking at what I eat. Must try to get my head in gear, it feels like i am making excuses when i write it down.

I think that being stressed can definitely cause weight to slow down or even for gains to happen - and like you say, you are stressed at the moment worrying about your husband's situation. I think it's a brave step to write things down, and I hope that you are able to have a better day today.

Ask yourself does food really comfort you, try to stay on track you'll thank yourself later, planning is the great key, I hope things go well for your husband and tests.

Don't be too hard on yourself Christine. Stress definitely affects how your body works. You can restart your diet once the tests are out of the way. Hope the results are ok for you.
