OMG first run since before pregnancy (7 years). Discovered that my village is actually quite hilly!

Any suggestions on altering the couch to 5k training programme for those of us with asthmatic tendencies? It'll be some time before I'm capable of speech again.

Is it the NHS C25K programme? If you look on the C25K forum on Healthunlocked you'll see that lots of asthmatics do C25K successfully. I don't think it needs altering as such (ensuring you have your meds may be important) but worth remembering that it is not about speed. I have different health problems and it took me something like 12-15 attempts to complete the 3 sessions of Week 1 successfully, yet never needed to do any extra to complete the whole programme. Week 1 is hard so if you managed it first time, well done!
