The link above was the previous update. My mother who was 93 lost her battle with acute leukaemia/ lymphoma The consultant said that it would be a approximately 3 to 6 weeks before it would take her and the best option now is to move her to palliative care as there was nothing further they could do for her in hospital. She was moved to a care home with 22 residence. The property was a little old and tired but the care was outstanding. I feel the latter part of her life was dealt with in a good and proper manner. However the first time of admittance was not. I except that it would not of really changed the outcome but may of had a better care plan for the weeks she was at her own home.
