As well as a need to improve monitoring (how many care staff have been caught on camera - why aren't doctors and nurses recorded) will we see the tech developed in places like Japan being used here to help with increasing patient numbers? What about developing tech in the uk? I saw a film recently (wolverine) which had an old man supported by a moving 'pin' bed - surely this could be created to help prevent a patient getting bed sores?
