Off to the maternity assessment unit again...

I'm 24 weeks, a strange thing happened last night, I was sitting on the sofa moved to get something and a small squirt of liquid came out, I thought OOOPS did I just wet myself? So as you do I went to the loo had a look, there was a little wet patch on my knickers, it was watery with a bit if white creamy cm!

So freaked out a bit, changed my underwear, and most of the night I haven't slept that well, but have checked my underwear and it hasn't happened again but I'm still on edge so I'm going to my maternity assessment unit to get checked, I'm scared if it amniotic fluid leaking or is it just wee or normal cm, but I have never had it squirt/gush out of me like this, has anyone any ideas or similar experiences?

I have that too sometimes. I've been told it is not amniotic fluid, most likely over active glands and/or a weakening pelvic floor. My doctor recommended to do some pelvic floor exercises.

However, rather have it checked, but don't worry too much. xxx

Thinking of you. I had very similar too. Felt like I'd wet myself and investigated which involved a large pool of liquid from down there that was watery and creamy too. I was told it is normal but by staff at the maternity assessment unit. Always worth checking these things out. Let us know how you get on ok? x
