Hi all, I’m pregnant with my first, yesterday I had my 28 week appointment and the midwife said his head is down and to take it easy. Could he move or will he remain as he is?? She told me not to worry but I can’t help but think he might come early. Any advice will be really appreciated

Thank you xx

Thank you so much, it’s hard not to worry with the thought of he may come early.... but worrying isn’t going to help me as I’ve been told and will do. Thank you xx

Your welcome Hun, I hope the rest of your pregnancy goes well! As he is engaged it will just feel heavy down there as the weeks go on . Xx

You don’t realise how heavy they can be until you progress. And thank you very much xx

Yes, my baby became engaged at a similar time and therefore sleeping and walking can get tricky and a little uncomfortable. Try sleeping with 1 or 2 pillows between your legs. I’ve given up wearing my maternity jeans and am wearing leggings as they are much more comfortable. Also sitting on a fitness/inflatable ball whilst watching tv or at work (office job) can feel more comfortable too.

Yeah I have noticed that it’s harder to walk now. And thank you for the advice x

Our boy was head down at 28 weeks. Had our growth scan 33+4 weeks on Monday just gone and he's now breech :/. They can usually be engaged at 28 weeks, it's normal :). Try not to worry x

Your little boy could be here any day now. Exciting times for you. I hope it goes well for you. And thank you, I’ll try not too but it is a bit hard to not worry as much as they tell you not to. Xx

I know 😁! My last shift at work is next Friday! Looking forward to relaxing before he makes his arrival. I know it is :/. It'll always play on your mind, especially as it's your first. Fingers crossed for you xx

It will be so much more real when you’re on maternity leave from work. Hopefully you can relax before he comes. Yeah it does play on your mind I’m just trying to keep busy with work like usual but not over doing it either xx
