Hello. New on site. I am 16 weeks and 2 days and am worried re lack of baby bump. In morning I have next to nothing but tend to show slightly as day goes on but is this just bloating.

Is this your first baby? It's quite common not to show until very late with baby #1. I was still in my normal jeans until I was 24 weeks pregnant! Your midwife will be measuring your bump at your appointments, if she hasn't started doing that already - if bump is genuinely small for gestation she would refer you for growth scan to check baby is oka. But I think you'll be okay xx

This sounds perfectly normal, I was the same didn't really show until 5 months. And yes the bump will get bigger throughout the day, just gravity working it's magic on your growing bump!

I remember funding 16/17 weeks quite a worrying time because my sickness disappeared and I felt back to normal and bump not showing so I was scared something was wrong. But hearing the heartbeat at midwife check ups is always reassuring.

Bear of luck!

I didn't really have a bump until about 23 weeks, I just seemed to put on weight around my waist so clothes didn't fit but people couldn't tell I was pregnant and maternity clothes didn't stay up! I remember being so pleased when the bump finally appeared so I didn't just look like I'd eaten too much! Enjoy this part, I loved the middle bit of my pregnancy x

I had my first hint of a bump at 21 weeks but it just looked like i had just eaten a big bowl of pasta! I was also a bit worried as she is my first but i was told that this is totally normal.

My actual bump didn't start to show until much closer to week 30 and i am now at week 35 with a nice little lump.

All pregnancies are different so what is normal for one may not be for you :) baby will show eventually.

Be happy you have strong abs holding it all in. Apparently its not at all the same the second time and you may look like your incubating a rake in there. I'm not showing but I an thicker around the wast, 19weeks.

I'm currently 15 weeks with my second baby and showing quite a lot already, quite scary how big my bump is! However, when I was expecting No1, I wasn't showing at all for a very long time and kept having a tiny bump all the way through all they way to delivery. Some people show much sooner than others, I wouldn't worry too much about it, rather be grateful - your bump will get big and heavy soon enough! ;-)

I'm pregnant with my first at 12 weeks and i am humongous! i just think its peoples body frames. I'm only 5'2 and i look like i have swallowed an elephant. But i do have to keep reminding myself im pregnant at the minute i feel fat and frumpy and getting very moody about it, should be worth it when i see him/her in 8 days for the first time! :D x
