50 Shades of Stupid?!

Anyone else bored of reading peoples really descriptive versions of how they think they may have gotten pregnant?

I have read some that have gone beyond disgusting.

Can the administrators not edit the questions and take out all the rubbish?

Its so tacky and unnecessary

Its an on-going problem and if you see previous posts you will see that many members have been trying to work with admin on this and also many users are simply reporting or leaving which is a shame as this site can when it works be a great place to get support, advice and vent when necc :-(

Welcome to NCT, is all I can say.

Other members and I have emailed the admins constantly about this issue. They have responded by creating the 'filters' on the right hand side of the page, as well as the 'Wondering if you're pregnant?' post, but it's beyond pathetic now.

They have not replied to my last email, suggesting that an administrator asked a public question, so we could all share our opinions with them.

My advice?

Don't read them, we're not being forced to.

Don't reply to them. It's just as counter productive.

It does make you not bother even going through the posts though when the email arrives because you just think what rubbish is going to be in there now, its such a shame because its clearly a supportive site. Hopefully the trolls (which I think 99% of the crazy posts are from) will clear off soon enough

I turn all my notifications off and come on when I feel like it

I feel awful saying this but it all gets a bit manic sometimes - its the weekly email or whenever it comes that actually reminds me to even come on here! That's why hopefully will return to normal soon

I only joined this site 2 weeks ago so I've never known it to be any different. Their ridiculous posts don't bother me because I don't read them and I really wouldn't waste my time feeding them with a response.

I keep returning to the forum because, inbetween their crap, there is so much genuine content that really does give me a lot of reassurance, comfort, and support. There is a lot of good stuff on here. Just ignore the rubbish.

It is so annoying. I get the email everyday and it's mainly the same. I haven't been on much especially since this got really bad. I joined a year ago, and I now have an almost 8 month old boy, and this website helped me so much during all those hormones and symptoms. Was good to have a rant if I needed it, and was great to see people share their birth stories and share support. It's a shame possible new members might be put off and that they don't benefit from the good that this website can do.

Pmsl I think that just about sums it up Shelley Harris lol. There are some very needy, attention seeking people in this world and the majority post stupid, pointless stuff on here. Idiots!!!!! Ignoring is the only way to go. Why should good people have to miss out and I certainly wouldn't give the fools the pleasure of driving me off the site.

I've been thinking, I used to run my own forum - I don't mind creating one for everyone here to join into and in the unlikely event someone posts these stupid "am I pregnant" things I'll delete the post, block the address alongside the ip address so they can't come back?

Only take me an hour, could have it up and running by midnight if people want it? Xxxx

I would 100% join Amy xxx

I'll create a new post and see how many respond, I'll happily set it up but obviously if it's only you and me I think you'll get bored of me quickly lol xxxx

I used to be on this forum until earlier this year as there were really stupid posts then. Just popped back on to have a look as I'd heard it's gone to the dogs and it is absolutely astounding!!! Some of these people are the kind of stupid you just can't buy. They are special and really should be studied to see what causes such idiocy

I was thinking this morning they should make a book with all the stupid questions or very descriptive stories (which sometimes they seem to be). All the money made should go to a children's charity! Its bound to give some people a laugh.
