Daily, I take 100 mg of Modafinil, and I haven't noticed any difference with my mobility (walking, etc.).

I am quartering a drug called Armodafinil. (It may be generic. I don't know). It's supposed to help with fatigue. I quarter it, because a whole tablet makes my eyes burn. There's a weird side effect for you! 😂

Did your walking go back to where it was when u stopped taking modafinil?

I take ldn (low dose naltrexone) and has helped the best. Gonna ask @ upcoming appt if I could/should increase to twice a day. Took me a few years to find 3mg was MY dose so nervous to tweak it too much.

Took amantadine prior to that not much help but felt I could walk better. Also will discuss this bc maybe it would save some energy?

I can say the cooler temps seem to be helping some for me bc I’m VERY temperature sensitive.

Good luck!

I didn't have walking problems when I tried it, but I also didn't have a baseline then of MS related leg issues. I stopped due to headaches and feeling exhausted all day.

I really don’t understand. Do you mean over the years ? Or does this come on fast ? I’ve been on rebif for 4 years and this year I am having lots of trouble walking. I know different drug . But I was like. Yes

ive had problems with dmts, walk worse with some a little better with others. I took modafinil for about a month to help with fatigue (for which it worked well for me) but a negative side effect of the modafinil for me was that my walking got more and more uncoordinated. I stopped taking the modafinil and since then the additional uncoordinated-ness went away (im still off balance with my walking from the MS, just not additional lack of balance)

I started taking Ritalin for exhaustion and my inability to focus - I like it but what if I add back in Modafinil for an extra boost?

Ritalin 10mgs and I've noticed it really helps me to focus, but still a little draggey energy wise....
