Blood Clot problems still.

I guess I spoke too soon when I posted previously about my clot problems. I thought I was maybe feeling better, but I was wrong. This has been so exhausting. I feel like I am wearing 50 pound weights on each leg and one on my back. Apparently a pulmonary embolism causes extreme fatigue, as well as a number of other choice symptoms. I am able to take my Stormy boy out on the trail 6 days out of the week, get housework and essential things done. But I am climbing back into bed throughout the day and napping every chance I get. Last Monday I had doggy go to daycare so I could take care of many extra things without having to do anything for him. Morning was great, but I thought I would take a “quick “ nap right after lunch. I slept for 4 hours! It can take 1-2 years to recover from this. Well, it is what it is. I’m just grateful that I didn’t need any surgery. There are so many people who are in much worse condition all over the world. Love to all of you, be well. Kelly

I am glad it’s getting better! I am sorry for your nap turning into a slumber, when that happens to me I just figure my body needed it. Hug and pet Stormy for me 🙂. I hope you feel better soon! 🙏

I will hug him for you! He thinks everyone here on earth is here just to love on him. I don’t know what I did before I got him. He is definitely my happy place and I can take him with me and keep the happiness with me. 🥰🥰❤️❤️

I hope things get better for you soon. I'm amazed at what you're doing while not feeling so good.

If I didn’t take Storms out on the trail for a good hour run, (well , he runs, I walk) I would have a crazy puppy later in the day. He just has a lot of energy and needs to get it out first thing in the morning. I also started sewing again and I’m having fun with that.

We had to do that with the last 4 dogs or pay the price😂😂

What are you sewing?

I admire your ability to look on the bright side! I hope you feel better sooner rather than later...and I hope you'll keep your doctor informed about the pain and fatigue, just to make sure they're normal. ❤️

naps are good. Blood clots are bad! Hang in there.

I'm so sorry, as I said before, blood clots are no joke. Take as many naps as you need, listen to your body. Things will get better. 🙏🏾

Hi there! So sorry to hear about your experience and the frustration is real. It is always easier to say ‘get rest’ but it is challenging when you are the receiver of the message and just want to push through like how things were before.

I'm new to the community here. Would you mind elaborating on how you developed blood clots? I'm curious because I have varicose veins and I've been experiencing discomfort on my legs.

I’m so sorry that you are going through this. I hope you feel better soon. You definitely need to rest when your body tells you. I’m glad that you’re able to take the dog out. What would we do without our furry friends? When I finally realized that I could no longer work, my husband and I adopted an Australian shepherd and she gave me so much joy. There’s nothing like unconditional love. All the best to you.

Are you taking anything?

I am taking Elequis. They first put me on Xarelto, but I was way too exhausted on that. My legs felt like they were encased in cement! This is better.
