MS gets on my nerves! Literally!🤦🏾‍♀️

Hello, how are you guys doing today? I will just say, I have had better days. Today is a day I just want to scream out and talk about how much I despise this disease ! Even though I strive to fight it everyday, it still seems to have the upper hand. 🤷🏾‍♀️However, I won’t complain. Right now I am looking for new insurance. I always had an awesome plan under my husband’s employment. Now that he is on long term disability; I have been dropped. Talk about a nightmare. I am disgusted with the process to say the least. On top of that, I am fighting Covid. I know I got it from someone in church last Sunday. The paramedics were called to pick me up on Tuesday. I fell and couldn’t get up.😂 I am getting better, and my appetite is back. It could be worse. Folks who don’t have this disease do not understand what your body goes through. Sometimes, there is something else behind that smile. You may be smiling to keep from crying. We make lemonade with the lemons we get. Oh well, I guess I ranted enough today. Enjoy your Labor Day weekend. Continued blessings! Sending hugs!🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Healthcare.gov The "Obamacare" site. There are subsidies available depending on your income. If you go elsewhere, I wouldn't recommend any short term policies, as they don't cover the same things.

Sorry for your troubles.❤️ I hope you'll be feeling better soon!

Greetings lexsarset. Most people don't understand unless they have personal ties to any illness. This has its challenges. Seems like a lot of them is the politics around this disease. Stay strong, MS strong. Some days we have more than our fair share of struggle. These struggles give a determination that strengthen us. We are always figuring out how to make the next move. Continue to fight. It's frustrating. But you get this resolved that can't be matched .

sorry to hear you’re having a bad day. I’m very fortunate that my MS situation as well as my younger adult daughter’s MS is quite tolerable. More than anything I’m kind of bored right now. I just don’t have a lot of ambition to do much of anything except watch TV. My daughter is planning to visit soon and drop her dog off with me while she does some training for her new job. Although I’m not going home right now, I’m taking care of a dog as much as I love dogs. I guess we will do it for her. My husband‘s out playing golf and it’s absolutely pouring out. I hope he didn’t get caught in the rain! Blue Cross insurance is pretty good for is so far. We each have the same Medicare policy which is the lowest cost policy. It pretty much covers whatever we need. I do have co-pays, and other than not having travel coverage , other for emergencies yes out of town, pretty much it covers what we need. I stopped taking MS medication five years ago and I still have mild non-progressive MS so I guess we are fortunate to have that right now. Yearly appointment with my neurologist is coming up in two days. I don’t expect anything unusual to occur..

I hope you feel better soon

my, but you are going through it! i was telling someone the other day that i can just about cope with the neuro issues, but add just one other ailment and my whole body just shuts down. i hope covid passes quickly and you at least return to your baseline soon.🤗

Wow, I am so apologetic that this has been your experience. You and your husband are in my prayers. So proud that you are able to talk about things and not hold them in. Discussing it is so therapeutic. Please don't be to proud , like me, to get assistance to walk. Trust it beats falling and having to lay there on the cold ground until help comes. Speedy recovery from covid! I am sending you big hugs, joy, insurance, prosperity, and no MS progression!!

hi lexsarset . My heart goes out to you. I did used to scream however, my family complained about It because it was disturbing to them. However not Realizing that They were taking away from me Something that I needed. I need help. with everything. So I cannot just get away. so if you need to let out a brief/temporary scream then do it. They made me feel better.
