Hubby and I drove to NY from Philly to the Blue Note πΆ Jazz Club to see Chris Botti π. I love jazz ever since I was a little girl and used to listen to music like Nina Simone, Ray Charles and Tony Bennett with my Daddy. Yeah, y'all know I was a "daddy's girl." Well, Chris Botti was fantastic, amazing (maybe g's of the video is small enough to share) but; Lord the packed venue and uncomfortable wooden chairs triggered "pins and needles" by the fourth song πͺ. Also, unfriendly couple sitting at the table didn't help matters. I think if you say: hello everyone - 'Seasons Greetings" the natural thing to do is just say hello??? Go figure. My husband was born and raised in NY, but went to college in Philly and made it his home. I tease him about the crazy driving in the big Apple π and grumpy people, and he said he got used to it lol. So injection day today and it's raining; so that means PJ's and soup for me (smile)

When MS really gets on your last Nerves; literally!
Oh, I hate people who won't respond! I have a sister-in-law who refuses to speak to anyone she doesn't like. I don't know why my step-brother married her, because he's just the friendliest guy.
I'm sorry you had to deal with that.
People like that think they're "punishing" others by acting like that. it's kind of a time saver, really.
They're showing you what they're made of straight awayπ©π
I agree that some folks don't have the proper grace to treat everyone civilly. To be kind and polite with a simple greeting/hello/season's greeting, etc. But not all have the grace you do!
Karma: you reap what you sow. I believe in that, too. You treat others the way you would want to be treated, right?
Rise above the mediocracy and use proper manners, indeed! π πππ€πππ β¨
You have cordial manners and the couple at the table obviously lacked them. The world would be a much better place if there were fewer folks like them and more like you! Though I'm sorry about the pins and needles and the hard chair, it was obviously an otherwise wonderful evening! And, from me to you, Season's Greetings!
Hope you got to hear more than four songs!? Sorry it was so uncomfortable
What I did hear was amazing! β
Yay! Reading your message I'm sitting here in awe that you got to experience wonderful music in person! Don't let others diminish your night out! Think how lucky you were to have such an amazing experience!!
