Final pic (I promise!)
Wow, it's beautiful. Wish i had thought of that with mine. I bet it's much better for you.
Can't tell you how much I like it. No obstacles to trip over, etc. Only problem is that everyone who uses it tends to take a longer shower!
i am not surprised Tutu I think I would have a tendency to wallow alittle in that, it's looks very inviting but very practical, anything to make life easier and more enjoyable, it looks easy to clean as well.
Easy to clean is a priority these days. π
Ohhh plz let's not mention cleaning showers l just spent 2 days scrubbing mine in stages. Trying to clean everything before the holidays. Figure if l do a bit every day it might get done lol
Its truly beautiful WAshingtongirl
So very nice!
Very nice!
Thanks, guys. Honestly, didn't send pics to get compliments. I just remember a post not long ago about grab bars, walk-in showers, etc and at the time, wished I could have sent a pic rather than try to describe what we did. Sure wish everyone could have a shower like ours. Truly do.
Thanks for sharing . I recently fell stepping over and out of the bathtub after having a shower . Now my brain is on pilot to refinish
Did you hurt yourself? I'm so sorry you fell. I hope you're able to redo your bathroom to fit your needs. I hate showering anywhere but in our own bathroom anymore. If I can give a word of advice-something I learned in the process of designing our remodel, as we saved $ by doing that phase (among some others on our own):
1. If you plan to use tile on the shower floor, make sure it is non-slip. Smaller tiles are best. I found ours in a clearance pile. Although I didn't like the larger gaps between the tiles, the added grout also adds to slip resistance. We have NO slip problem.
2. I didn't spell out the desired seat size of the corner bench when the tiler was installing it. Didn't catch the problem until after he left that day. It's too small! I can barely fit my bottom on it. If I had it t do over again, I would have supplied him with ADA guidelines. Otherwise, no complaints!
Good luck! And in the meantime, take care.
