Surgery update

Hey everyone! Thank you so much for your encouragement and prayers for my little girl. She had her surgery (ear tubes and adenoid removal) yesterday morning and all went well. She was so incredibly brave and strong! Even got an IV inserted pre op (which isn’t commonly done for little kids). Her adenoids were very enlarged and she had an 80% blockage to her ears 🥴! We definitely didn’t think they were that bad. I’m amazed at how resilient kids are, as she was running around and jumping on beds 3 hours after we got home from the hospital, lol! She’s still having some discomfort, but is ok if she’s getting Tylenol. Thanks again!

Jessica ❤️

PS as you can see in the picture, she ran into the wall head first the night before surgery 😣🤦‍♀️

What a beautiful little girl, and what a star. When I had my adenoids out at 5 years old I had to stay in hospital for a week. That was 61 years ago, how things have changed. Hoping and praying that she will hear much better, and heal fast. Hugs and blessings Jimeka 🤗

I had 1/2 my thyroid out when I was in 6th grade. I was checked in the hospital the day before and stayed for a week. 47 years later I had the 2nd 1/2 out. I was given the option of leaving the same day with a tube in my neck or spend 1 night (which I did).

So glad surgery went well and she is feeling so good after! My cousin had tubes in her ears when she was little and had to wear ear plugs in the shower or if she went swimming. When she was a little older, her tubes were able to be removed.

OMG, this beautiful little angel; God Bless her! I'm so glad she's doing well and the family is home and settled. My 33 year old son had ear tubes done, I remember the ear infections days. Bless your family she is precious.Grace and Peace

Lol, no…she was spinning in circles while taking her clothes off to get in the bath, as only a 3 year old would 😂😂😂
