About a month until your surgery? Are you still seeing PT or did they give you safe movements or exercises so you dont lose too much muscle while you are waiting? 4 months😲

No, they cancelled before it even started to wait until after surgery.

I have noticed a change in muscle mass and am praying that I can regain it.

I was 8 weeks non weight bearing after ankle surgery but you will be 5 months by the time you have surgery! Try to keep your upper body strength while waiting, hand weights etc. I would have thought PT might have given you a program while you are waiting on surgery.

Glad you have been able to keep your sense of humor though it all 🀣 A foot soak and a new pumice stone for your hub to give you some pampering sounds about right!

I think it's because of the break that they didn't want to start it.. That leg's an inch shorter because it's jammed up into the socket.

Before I knew all that, I was doing squats with my hub's help.

That kinda hurt.πŸ˜…

I don't have much pain now but it's healing wrong, so in I go.

Foot soak sounds nice but I think I might need an angle grinder at this point.😜

You answered your question with your question! All of those dead skin cells stuck to each other instead of falling off as you walk. You might stomp your feet as you are sitting. It relieves a little stress, will make the cats & dogs nuts or they will look at you like you are nuts. It'll may even make your husband wonder..πŸ€”πŸ€£

Get a good urea cream for your hubby to massage your feet. Works wonders on the dry skin. I have psoriasis and it makes such a difference.
