Update excruciating pain

Thanks to the advice of this community, I booked my husband in to see a chiropractor where he was sent with an urgent referral to his local hospital A and E department for a MRI scan. He was in excruciating pain. Thanks to this MRI which showed up abnormalities he has had further investigations and they discovered he had a rare primary Spinal Chord Cancer. He is going to have as much of it removed as they can and will have a treatment plan for chemo and radiotherapy. Although they cannot remove it all it is slow growing so this treatment regime should extend his life. We are really grateful for this chance and to the consultant for offering him this chance. So thanks again for the advice from this community.

It seems bizarre that you would need a chiropractor to find something so major that medical doctors somehow couldn't manage to find. But I am so glad you got that advice and that it allowed your husband to be diagnosed and treated! I pray that everything will go smoothly now, and that he can get some real relief, and be with his loved ones longer! 🙏
