I got my computer back today, grandson took it to the shop for me on the 18th. It's been ready since the 23rd. Carol & I took a road trip today to get it. She doesn't like to drive on the expressways because of big trucks. It took me & my foggy brain time but I finally remembered the back way & today became the day. I got my computer back yippy!!!

I'm back again
I'm happy for you, Mary. Good to have you back. π
This is good news on at least two fronts, you have people nearby who love you and will help with vital or necessary errands. For those of us who live alone or in rural areas, the help we sometimes need from others is vital to our ability to function. The computer, too, serves this function keeping us connected to the world of friends, emotional support and in your case (and mine) weather reports in this spring of raging storms that sweep across the continent. I always love hearing your voice here on the forum. Be well.
Hooray! I'd be pulling my hair out if I didn't have mine for that length of time. I'm lucky enough to have a repairman on call 24/7. His fee usually involves brownies or D&D stuff. π
Itβs so good to hear from you! Stay well and keep us posted on how you are doing.
Yay!!
Welcome back! I don't know how you did it. I'm on my phone or laptop or tablet way too much. But they keep us connected to the world! π€π€π€
Congratulations
So glad you got your computer back! These computers are a life line for us, a connection to others that understand!!
Welcome back, Mary! How are you doing? (really, how are you?) We missed you! The Internet & land line are down here. For the 2nd time in 4 weeks, our phone lines have been cut, & the lines are GONE. People take the copper lines & resell the copper to scrap metal places. With all the clever minds in the world, there must be a way to counter such theft. But don't look at me! I'm clueless about stopping it. π
