Good Morning to everyone and Happy Motherβs Day and also to those dads raising their children ππΌ. The northern lights were pretty cool last night ππΌ The little things that make us smile and be happy we experienced them π Hope everyone enjoys their day with families and friends π Rozy and I are plugging along and doing the best we canπ€πΌ Staying positive and moving forward is the name of the game for me. I finally broke down and letting the neighbor kids mow my lawn and trim. They did a good job π I did do the dog poop and had dug the dandelions prior to them moving. They said extra $5 to do dog poop which is fine. They seem like smart guys and I am going to have them help me with other things and pay hourly. Itβs tough giving up the things we used too do so easily but now I pay for them when I do them. Our humility and pride still steps in at times. Enjoy your day ππΌππ

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY π
Hope you have a great day, too!
so true! You have a good day too!
have a nice day! That photo is amazing π€©
Sounds like you are making positive choices that make you feel humble. That's a good thing! Keep smilingπ
Beautiful photo, Kenu ! Itβs tough to give up things that you were able to do. Itβs nice that you can get help to do them so they are not always there, staring at you in the face ( the chores, that is), and you can focus on the better stuff, like snuggling with Rozy. π€
Nothing wrong with getting a little help, even if you have to pay for it, and it's nice that you even HAVE neighbor kids. I'm surrounded by the disabled and senior citizens. π
They say we could see the Northern Lights here, but either I looked at the wrong times or they lied. That's a beautiful photo.
I'm glad you got to see it! π
It's wisdom to give up some of what we once considered necessary, and a fine practice to ask for help when needed. We all reach a point where it's a wonderful gift to have a little assistance even for those things we once did ourselves.
Gorgeous pink! Glad you have found help.
You are fortunate to have neighborhood kids who do a good job willing to mow! It teaches them responsibility as well. It's a win-win!
I saw the northern lights once back around 1976 and they were beautiful and spooky. This year it was too cloudy, unfortunately
I agree, it's hard to give up doing things that used to be so easy. Also taking much longer to do things that were so easy a few years ago.
Life has brought us a big lemon, but the lemonade still tastes good.
Getting help is necessary to maintain your own health. It also benefits the young helpers . Nice picture of the northern lights.
The northern lights are beautiful we couldn't see them here it was too cloudy here
Gorgeous photo! I'm so glad you are getting things done without hurting later.
