mrsmike9 I was bored one day, seriously, who gets bored with ‘ms’, well anyway, I decided to make a bracelet. I used pretty pink mermaid beads, glow in the dark white spacer beads, and beads that spell HOPE, which is an acronym that stands for Harbour Only Positive Energy. It helps put me in the right frame of mind and reminds me to be kind in words, thoughts, and deeds.

One of my instructors from my aqua yoga class just came back from visiting Cambodia where she and her family are originally from- anyway she brought us all back a simple wooden beaded bracelet that was blessed by a monk for health, happiness and the wealth of our health and happiness.. I am just tickled.. she always says those words when we are cooling down 😊

I am doing OK. I was really sick for over 2 months some upper respiratory infection. That is gone but I am having a really bad problem with fatigue in the afternoon. I have lots of energy in the morning. My neurologist feels it's just from being sick for so long and it will take some time to get over it but I started being sick January 19th and this seems to be to long for the fatigue to still be an issue. But besides that I am still getting around. I go to the Y 3 times a week, I mow my own lawn and I am very active at my church
Stay on that road to recovery, Turtlepie , and do pace yourself! 🤗

I love the acronym! Especially since it helps you to think of positive things 🧡I crochet to fight the boredom. I just bought a bunch of crochet patterns that were on sale, and am starting on my first one now. I needed something more challenging to do, and I love the way the African Flower amigurumi animals look, so I'm starting on practicing those flowers, then putting them all together to make some fun things!🧡
Oh, I forgot to say, I LOVE the bracelet! The beads are so pretty, where did you get the mermaid ones? (I used to bead and my teens still do sometimes)

I am making a headband first, just to get the hang of making them, and then I'm going to make a Happy Hippo one for my MIL for Christmas. I don't know if you guys know the "I want a hippopotamus for Christmas" song (look up the old one on YouTube, it is so cute) but my MIL introduced me to it, and she plays if every year at Christmas, lol. So this year, she is getting one for Christmas!!🤣🤣
