Temp here (in central IL) at 9 am was -2 with wind chill at -22. Looks like we've warmed up in the past 4 hours, now 7 with wind chill -11.

Tomorrow's forecast says "Not as cold with highs in the mid 20s." <---- Wowwww! What a warm-up! 😂😂😂

10, that's the high. -20 or something chill this am, had to bundle the kiddos and break out snow boots (for all the NOT snow🙄🤬🙄🤬). So dumb. It pretty snowed everywhere but here.

I'm going to make the most of it, as usual. I have some bubbles to blow outside and bday balloons take out. Will be fun for the girls to watch what happens!

kdali We also missed out on the snow at the end of last week. Just a cold, nasty rain. However, this weekend would have been much more miserable if we had snow to go with the 50 mph winds.

Wind chillls were closer to -40 overnight this past weekend. Not that I was out in it, but the poor doggo was!

Yes, the winds have been super. The balloons are tied to a weight, and a gust hurled them at me 🫣

My dad's job got us moved to Indiana in 1964 and I'm still a Yankee. I was born in Pittsfield, MA - lived in Shelton, CT - then Indiana. I always feel like I'm going home when I get back to New England.

Ohio Valley region here, and we have 11 right now, with the wind chill tonight supposed to be -15. My furnace won't keep up, so I've been sleeping with 3 down comforters and a cold-weather sleeping bag.

My 82-year-old aunt lives alone in South Bend, IN, and her furnace went out on Sunday night. She wasn't able to reach a repairman until this afternoon. Fortunately, she has a fireplace, but it's also located in a big glass sun room!

We were at 2 this morning & it warmed up to 20 this afternoon in western Arkansas but has now dropped down to 10 with the wind chill of 6. I think its supposed to warm up to 32 tomorrow. We've still got some snow on the ground. It doesn't usually snow here or if it does its usually just a dusting & it doesn't stick around very long. I'm thankful we are warm compared to other parts of the country.
