No changes 5 years in a row. I meditate and completely relax with my eyes closed. When machine starts rolling, shut are my eyes. They play music which I blend with the knocking sounds. Also Navy veteran, state of mind. 😘😘😍😍😍😍😎

I play songs in my head when I don't have headphones that can play music. My first song is Dark Horse by Katie Perry, because it was in the hits when I had my 1st mri and I had headphones on! It was also on the car radio when I was going home, and then was the 1st song when I switched the music channel on at home 🤣 once I've got to the point where I'm properly relaxed, then I'll go to sleep, trying to stop my eyes from following the sounds around the machine 🤣🤣🤣

Just wondering, do they let you bring your own music to MRI's? I can put my music on a memory stick and listen to it for hours.

I've never asked that 🤔 my 1st one, they had the radio playing the music, my 2nd they only did classical, and then the ones after I wasn't given an option but to dp it with ear defenders on or plugs in 🤷‍♀️

They provide the music, ask you what do you prefer. Bring your stick..never know. 🥰😎
