Had my appointment with neurologist. Hadn't seen him in almost two years. NO NEW LESIONS!! Seems apparent the relapse (call it pseudo or whatever you want) was from the shingles vaccine. While I was there doc talked for an hour about anti-inflammatory diet. Gave me both Overcoming ME and Wahls Protocal to read. Being open minded and reading. I have been dismissive in the past of these plans that require so much work for me! 😂

Hooray for a clean MRI! I’m impressed that your neuro even suggested dietary possibilities. Most seem to steer clear. It’s tough work, especially if, like the old me, you’re not in the habit of cooking, but I’m so grateful I was able to make big changes. Good luck!

I’m lucky! My neurologist is brilliant and very different than most doctors. He spends an hour minimum at each visit. I was there two hours this time and have been there for three hours before. With him...not waiting.

It’s funny Erin, my daughter who is 15 has been eating like that for about a year. So the switch won’t really be too hard. She does most of our dinner cooking anyway.

So happy for you Karen-X! Becareful of the Wahl Protocol, it's a good general idea, but it will NOT cure MS, bad reporting on this claim, she actually used DMTs for relief.

What sort of DMT? As I understand it, the usual treatments did not prevent her from progressing to SPMS, but her protocol reversed it. I am wary of any reporting that claims it “cured” her, and I could be wrong but I don’t remember her saying it was a cure.

My 2 Neurologist and nutritionist stated this to me when I told them that I had cleared out my refrigerator to start her diet.
