Hi My MS family, Last week I was watching a tv show named SKYMED. During this particular episode a young lady was taken to the emergency room because she fell and broke her nose. She told the Dr that she lost her balance going up the stairs. The next morning in the emergency room the young lady could not see when she woke up. I told my husband she has MS. He said you think I said I know. The Dr did an MRI and she was diagnosed with MS. This is the second tv show I have seen having patients with MS. I have seen commercials about Ocrevus but not tv shows.

MS and TV shows
I have not seen it on tv yet.Lots of drug ads though.
Im thrilled they are bringing MS to light! The more ppl know the more attention MS gets! Even on a TV series! 🤣😂😐🤗💕🌠
i know that feeling of falling up stairs ...people always asked how do you fall going up stairs ?? ...that was before i was told i had MS ...hahahhahahahhha....thank you ...
I've seen a few TV shows where one of the characters, sometimes a main character and sometimes a guest character, has MS. I think MS is finally starting to get more attention in Hollywood because of all the actors who are admitting to having MS.
There were patients with MS in the long running series "ER!"
It seemed like there was a run of it in TV shows I watched; Scorpion, Sherlock, Lie To Me. Haven't seen any recent ones though.
More than 10 years ago, there was a show West Wing, where Martin Sheen was president and he was diagnosed with MS.
one of the head doctors on the Fox show the Resident had MS. I think that show went off the air in the last year or so.
I think giving MS that kind of exposure is a good thing. Perhaps those that control the purse strings will support research funding if they are better informed on the impact MS has not only on us but our loved ones as well . Thanks for sharing
Interesting! I know when former talkshow host Montrell Williams disclosed having MS; he different treatment options and Holistic Medicine. I check it out. NeeC
Does this mean that we can all be actors now?
I've seen a few shows where a character has or was diagnosed with MS. Its getting more & more recognition.
