G'day my RRms (Relapsing-Remitting ms) Sisters and brothers. Do YOU care or have YOU given up? Our disease is chronic and incurable. Seriously it is, for 20+ years I have looked around, read stuff, and listened to all sorts of ms talks and I yet to am yet to find a repeatable cured ms person, anywhere on this planet, NOT ONE. This I believe is no reason to give up, pull the blanket over my head and cry in the dark. NO, I am better than that I deserve more, AND SO DO YOU. I matter, YOU matter, until the day my heart stops I matter and so do YOU.
Am I saying this in a way that makes sense to YOU, do YOU have the feeling, does what I say make sense? There is no need to be an expert, a rocket scientist. Start to learn about your illness. What does a Magnetic Resonance Image (MRI) look like, what are these white spots? What do they mean? To YOU, to your ms? Ask questions, LEARN, It is a lot at first, but if YOU ask questions, remember a little then soon enough YOu will understand what is going on. YOU will remember, that yes, YOU do matter and keep acting like it.
Do not let anybody brush YOU aside and say it is ms why bother? Today there is a lot that can be done. Sometimes even Neurologists (Neuros) can be lazy, advocate for yourself and live your best life.
