G'day my Relapsing-Remitting ms (RRms) siblings. Or of course Girls and Boys. RRms is overwhelming is it not? There is so much to do. Advice from somebody who was in your place once, long ago, about 20 years. I do not remember exactly, it really is not that important.

Okay back to YOU be not overwhelmed. Stop it right now, solve ONE problem at a time then move on to the next. RRms will give YOU problems, never-ending problems, and recurring problems. When YOU think YOU have solved them all, and are nice and comfortable and relaxed another one pops up, or an old one recurs. 20+ years and this is happening to me now. It will happen to YOU jJst stop go back to your beginning and start saving your problems again. Little bit by little. bit. It is an exercise in frustration and in perseverance. YOUR perseverance. Look at that picture that YOU have of your nerves, both the central nervous system (CNS and the peripheral nervous system. There is a lot of places for ms to hide and then attack YOU. Stay Calm, YOU can do this. Just one step at a time, then another then another. YOU can do this, YOU are strong, determined, bloody-minded, not a quitter.

YES YOU ARE. Have a good day, and make me proud.

Royce

This is good advice, Royce, for any situation that's getting you down. In the early days of my divorce, I was completely overwhelmed and moaning to a cousin about all my problems. She listened, then she pointed out that my husband was a jerk and my employer was shutting down. Yes, everything else fanned out from those points, but I really only had two problems. Once I began looking at it that way, the other issues all fell into place and were easier to manage.
