Just a big thank you for your kind words when I fell. I’m feeling much better now. It turned out that I also had a concussion that did not manifest itself until Monday. I was unaware that they can take 48-72 hours to show up. I was obedient and stayed in bed for two days and I am feeling much better now. I was very confused and dizzy on Monday, so one of my friends took me to the urgent care. My pupils were dilated and I had vomited. I honestly have never experienced the fatigue that it caused before. When my brain wanted me to rest, I had to sleep. I hope none of you ever feel that way. My brain was zapped. The doctor said it could come and go for awhile. But truly I am much better.

I decided a few years ago that I would control my life, not let my health and outside influences dictate what I do. So I am back in the saddle today. I’m not rushing anything, but just following instructions. Apparently too much rest is as bad as not enough. It’s a fine line the doctor said. Love to all, Kelly

Glad you are doing better. Scary that you had a concussion. Hopefully no more falls like that again.

Thanks! The scary thing about falling is that it happens so fast…one second I was standing up and next thing I knew my feet flew out from under me! Boom!

Yes, I haven’t fallen in a long time, but the ice got me. It was really my fault for not changing out of my tennis shoes after the gym. So I guess it was a very big reminder of that! I bet Oliver is really getting big!

Not a good picture but that was just a couple of days ago

May I get in "Mama mode" for a moment? When it is icy outside, I hope you keep your booty indoors! 😂 Be safe and get well soon!

I am so glad you're doing better. I managed to concuss myself several times many years before the diagnosis, but mine were never that bad. How incredibly scary.

Yes, it was scary. They said it was a mild one, but I sure would not want it to be any worse than it was!

I am definitely not a warrior, just a bit stubborn. I have to remember that I am not 25 anymore! In fact it’s been a long time since I saw anything close to that!
