The talent gene skipped me. My grandmother could paint and draw. A cousin writes moving essays and funny poems. One aunt has always been able to sew at the couture level, and another can crochet anything just by looking at a picture. I can draw stick figures rather well, and the last afghan I tried to crochet wound up being a scarf for a chihuahua.
Now, if MSAA would just showcase "who has the largest unwashed laundry pile" or "whose unmown grass is the tallest", I might have a fighting chance. 🤣
I can sew, make chocolates, craft stuff, make jewelry, and paint by number! 🤣😂🤣 but l would win on lawn mowing!! 🤣😂🤣

Yeah, I sometimes think dads were born scary. Hi, Dad! It's good to see you for the first time in 6 months. "When did you change the oil in the car?" I got a great new promotion this week! "How old is your furnace filter?" I bought this new dress special for your birthday party. "How much are you paying for gas? If you go to Next Town Over, turn right at the abandoned mill, left at the red barn, and go 3 miles down a dirt road they're selling it for 2 cents cheaper than anywhere else." Then again, that's the same dad you call at midnight to say you broke down 600 miles away in a snowstorm, and he says "Sit tight. I'll be right there."
