Greetings to all!

Has anyone even heard of the benefits of having Botox treatment in your hip flexors and calf muscles? Perhaps I’m not doing enough reading or maybe my memory is not like I would like.

Anyhow, I received this treatment a few weeks ago. I am happy with the results and know the importance of continuing my exercises. I am more flexible now, for sure. I just have to build more muscles, or that’s what I think.

I am interested in hearing any stories from other people.

Thank you so much 😊

This isn't Botox but I thought this was interesting to share. A friend of mine has a lot of pain and trouble with her knees. She had a procedure done called Plasma rich protein, PRP. They take blood out and then take the plasma out of your blood and inject it into her knee. She had it done several years ago and it relieved the pain until recently. She just had it done again. She said this has helped so much and it's from your own body put back in.

Yes I have had Botox in my thigh for drop foot and also shots in my toe’s for pain. Both have helped me and especially pain. Also had Botox shots in forearm for my fingers to loosen them up and pain which has also helped 👍🏼. Just had second round last Monday as they can only due them every three months. Last week I also had Botox injections for migraines and dizziness. Said it would take 5-6 days to see any results and yesterday the dizziness was getting better and today headache is there but not as severer🤞🏼 Still early will see🙏👍🏼😉 P.S. I am doing pt three time’s a week also 🤪

I’m so glad you’re seeing improvements. I heard Botox will help with headache and I hope you have relief very soon.Yes, PT is good to keep the body moving. I have to move more these days, because I have edema, but I have hope to possibly get rid of it.

I was thinking about doing Botox in both of my calve muscles. Is it very painful?

It wasn’t painful for me and they have a spray that they use before they insert the needle that is supposed to help with pain.

To tell you the truth, I have never done such procedures as you described. The only procedure I did was injections of dermal fillers into my forehead or from wrinkles. I used the products of the company dkdermal.com/restylane/ and I did not notice any side effects or anything else.
