Changed from Dimethyl Fumarate to Vumerity on 8/12/22

I changed from Dimethyl Fumarate to Vumerity. 1st day of Vumerity on 8/12. Just checking to see if anyone have done the change and how did everything go. My doctor explained everything is similar and I feel positive about the change just wanted to get everyone else. I am Positive for the JCV. Thanks!

I changed from Ocrevus to Vumerity a couple months ago. One of the side effects of Vumerity is flushing which I have experienced a couple times since on the med. The flushing was just annoying and didn't last long. Other than that, it has gone well.

I was on Dimethyl Fumarate before Ocrevus so that is why my neuro thought that I would tolerate the Vumerity.

Since the drugs are so similar, your switch should go well.

I changed from Ocrevus to Vumerity back in January. I have found if you take it with food you won't get that flushing or at least I don't. It seems to be working better than Techfedera did a few years back. The heat isn't bothering me near as much as it did when I was on Techfedera or Copaxone either. I'm very pleased with it.

Vumerity went well for the 1st wk. Started the 2 Pills twice a day on today and looking forward to great results as well. Thanks🙏🏾
