I have had several Ocrevus infusions and have noticed no change in my ms symptoms.

Has anybody experienced a positive result of Ocrevus infusions?

Hi efftee how is San Diego? Lived in Chula Vista a life time ago! There and other places around CA!

What kind of results are looking for on "O"? I just had my 1stt half and get my 2nd next week.☺️ Have you had anymore progression with your MS? Or are you staying the same? How long have you been on it?

We're you told to expect something? I'm curious 🙄

Nice to meet you BTW!😂🤗💕

Me! I’m in the 1% though, and I don’t expect to stay there forever because it’s only suppose to really slow progression.

Expectations are important:

The only expected result with Ocrevus is no new lesion and no active lesion. My neuro was very clear about this. All O brochure say that too if you read the details. Nowhere does it say that it will improve your symptoms.

In my case, the MRI at 6 months shows exactly that: no active or new lesion.

That said, my symptoms have improved too, to a point where they're barely noticeable and fatigue is gone (still making progress there). I will never know if it is Ocrevus, my diet, my exercise routine, or all of it. Probably all of it.

Here is my interpretation of it: Ocrevus prevented further damage giving my body (my brain) time to heal itself, especially given that I treated it with the right food and proper activity to rebuild connections around the lesions.

My experience is similar to what anaishunter mentioned. The progression seems to have stopped and my symptoms all seem a little better, but not gone.

My experience is similar to kdali. For me, I have not used my cane since my second half-dose of Ocrevus six weeks ago. I’m definitely walking better and feeling more balanced. I hope and pray it lasts. My neurologist recently stated that I was in the small percentage of patients who are considered early responders. And yes, he said that Ocrevus is designed to hold back part of the immune system in attempt to slow progression and prevent new lesions...but he also said that it does work on inflammation and that any MS symptoms may progressively improve throughout the course of therapy. Genentech recently gave me a follow up call and my appointed rep agreed that some patients have experienced similar results...Hope this helps 🙂

efftee I am 2 years into Ocrevus and have PPMS. I can not have MRIs due to other medical issues. My experience has been a lessening of fatigue, but my balance is a little worse than it was 2 years ago. My neuro. is talking about, barring no changes, keeping me on O three more years then taking a break from it. Right now it is the only approved med. for PPMS, and I have not experienced any side effects, so I am happy with the reduced fatigue.

Hi efftee, I'm one week away from my 1 year infusion and I have experienced several improvements. My memory has gotten a lot better. My balance has improved. I'm able to look at my debit card number and remember all the numbers exp date and the 3 digit number on the back when before O I was lucky if I could remember the first 4. O has definitely made a change in me.i can think about something that has occurred earlier in the day and remember most of what occurred. Before O I was lucky if I remembered anything or even if anything occurred. I can go to the store and get what's needed without making a list. I'll stop there. I hope you start seeing improvements.

Hi...in reply to Ocrevus experience...in October I’ll be on it for 2 years. My neurologist said he hasn’t seen real results til the 2 year mark. I can tell you, I’ve not seen any positive results so far. Still progressing downward.

Ocrevus will not improve any of your symptoms. It is purely based DMT.

Since you have been on it have you had any exacerbations? If not it is doing its job. Even if you have had an exacerbation are you having fewer than before, it is doing its job.

There are no DMT'S that will cure any of your current condition.

Not what you're looking for?
