As i arose to look out the window a little chill came on. To my suprise these gorfeosu yellow flowers had bloomed overnight, a gift from God is my supose. How often i had paid my children to pick these at a penny a piece to rid the yard of pests...but evermore the jolly little buds came evermore and i was broke..Dandilions are Dandi-Lions because they are strong resiliant and have properties of health.I liken these as to us with MS or any other disease...we are Dandies in a Lions field. WE WILL BOUNCE BACK. Worth much more than a penny...xoxoxoxox

When I was a child I used to spend a lot of time with my grandma in her garden. She taught me how to dig the dandelions up by the root then fill the whole with salt, the dandelions did not grow back. She had a huge garden, but I never got paid for it , they are a beautiful flower, but very prolific 😂

sweet ...love it how you use to give the children a penny to pick them...is so cute ...now we know they are so hard to get rid of ...have a great day and maybe you can find a nice friend to dig them up for you but again if they are the only flowers you have maybe you can just enjoy them...love and happiness any way you can ...

hee hee. Be glad you're not my neighbor. I like to go out in the yard and blow the seeds around. Dandelions are one of my favorite flowers, and I've always felt that there are never enough. Plus, the greens are fantastic cooked in a bit of vinegar and bacon fat, but then again, anything cooked in bacon fat is pretty good!

But don't try eating them from my yard. Definitely Not Organic here. I try and keep them well fed on every chemical I can throw at them. Wore several weed poppers out, then gave up trying to pull them. There are too many people who simply can't see them anymore. First to go with the eye sight?

I don't know about detoxing the liver, but they're great to add to treatments for UTI's. Dandelions, particularly the root, are a good diuretic.

I think HOA's should just be banned. My cousin bought a 2nd house for his growing family, intending to sell the smaller one that had a HOA. It took him something like 5 years, because they kept finding fault with the potential buyers and the price they were willing to pay. Meanwhile, he was stuck with the upkeep and mortgage on 2 houses. Weirdly enough, they had no issue with him renting the house to various tenants.
