Merriment of Christmas Eve 🎄 😷

I have wanted to spend quality time with my daughter, well it finally happened. Last night Christmas Eve we spent 4 hours together in Accident and Emergency, at our local hospital. I had fallen and upon X-ray, broken my finger. It was my ring finger, and my wedding , eternity and spirit ring had to be cut off. Then they gave me the option to give me a local anaesthetic but my daughter who is a nurse, advised me, just to grin and bear it, so I did, ouch 😓😱😖, then it was over and my finger was straight again. After another X-ray they found it was back in the joint and I could bend it again. I have an appointment at the fracture clinic in 3 days time, and I need to go to a jewellers and get my rings fixed. Razor was at my side immediately and I got such a welcome when I got home. Hopefully, God willing that’s it for this week, what with my son in law having had surgery on his broken hand, my broken finger and a new grandson, merry Christmas everyone.

How did yu get it straightened back out? Did you push it in place?

The orthopaedic surgeon just pulled it back into its joint, the pain was momentary but afterwards, OUCH 😣

Goodness, I am sorry about your finger! But it could have been your hip! (if that makes you feel better!). How upset you must have been to have your rings cut off. I feel for you, Jimeka! ((hugs))
