Hi, my new Physical therapist asked me if i wanted to try the bioness to get rid of the walker. win/win, right? so i tried it today but it was painful and made my ankle go out instead of up. so i guess it's not for me. Or maybe I'll try again after it gets upgraded. For those people unfamiliar it is an electrical pulse from a device on the calf to a device under the sole of your foot. not sure but it might also be called AFO Ankle foot orthotic? Looking forward to hearing about your experience. thanks.

Have you ever tried a Bioness type device?
Sorry to hear that the L300 didn't work out for you. I used the L300 for 2 years and then switched up to the L300 go for the last 2 years. It works great for me. Yes it takes a bit of getting used to, but has been a big help.
I’m using the L300 Go. Although lately I’ve been not using it. My heat sensitivity keeps worsening and the heat it generates is problematic. I wonder if others using it have similar problems?
i don't use one but i have seen lots of people have them and it something you have to get use to and maybe it needs to get someone to make sure you have it on right or just an adjustment for you ...
Who would adjust it?
The representative that had you try it should be able to adjust it. The location of the electrical stimulation will make a difference of toes lifting straight up or to the outside. I have the walk aide and Hanger Clinic is where I go for adjustments to the device. It was a trial and error time getting it fit properly to begin with. Takes patience on the part of the adjuster and the wearer.
