Good morning beloved ms family. I guess more correctly it should be G'day as I have no idea when "YOU" are reading this. Either way, all is well I hope, just another day in our long line of days with this incurable chronic progressive mystery illness. Thank you ms Queensland, I appreciate "YOU" letting me steal that.
Today should be a good one only around 100 degrees F, but we are in a desert and it is a dry heat. Do not believe anybody who says that, they are lying. Hot is hot. "YOU" are capable of so much more than "YOU "might think "YOU" are. Yes, most certainly in this life, "YOU" got the short end of the straw, But maybe "YOU" did not.
Work with me on this. Have "YOU," noticed that there is so much more to "YOU" know than before "YOU" were diagnosed (Dx'd) with ms. Your priorities have or are changing. Be this jobs, income, or relationships. Give it time to let "YOU" change. Do not fear it, LEARN. "YOU" very well might like to see what "YOU" become. I am very aware that 20+ years ago when I started this journey, I was a very sad and scared young man. At 29 my whole planned (I am like that) life was turned upside down and torn apart. I did not know what to do or where to go. It might be this way for you as well.
The point I am trying to make is not to give up on yourself. Make a plan and live by it. Set goals then achieve them. If "YOU" fail maybe try again or change that goal. The options are yours, pick a good one, one that "YOU" can achieve. ms is an illness it does not have to totally destroy your life. Change it YES, but destroy it maybe not.
Royce (your ms writer and Brother)
