Last time I communicated with you I was in the hospital after a flight by helicopter. I now know the importance of that flight. I had an infection that went into my blood and caused me to go into septic shock and my internal organs were beginning to be destroyed. I was still out of it the last time I chatted with you and I could barely hold my phone. So by the quick action of the emergency room doctors and nurses I'm still with you.

I was glad to be out of the rehabilitation hospital a week ago in which I was still very weak. This infection booked me 3 weeks in the hospital. They fought the infection with levaquin infusions for 5 days and orals for 10 days. All infection was eliminated but because of the damage I had to go to a rehabilitation hospital to gain enough strength to take care of myself. Sepsis is wicked and really hard on those who have MS.

I have been on Tysabry for over 15 years without a problem with the JC virus. But after this the blood test come back with a very small amount of JC in my blood. And so I infusions will only be every other month now and hopefully that will help me fight off the bladder infections along with the JC virus. If the JC continues to grow then I'm sure they will switch my medicine we shall see. I have been real lucky on Tysabry. I have stayed pretty steady at secondary progressive the last 10 years.

I'm feeling stronger now so I should be able to get back to my painting and with that I will share with you some of my last paintings before this all .

Oh, that is so good, I could hang it on my wall and just dwell in the peace of the picture. Well done, another masterpiece, each one is individual. I am so pleased that your body was able to fight off the infection. Thank you for sharing with us, stay strong, and hopefully happy. Blessings Jimeka 🤗 👏👏👏

OMG! I am so sorry to hear of your struggles. I was on Tysabri for a while too.. It was magical for me.. I loved it! Then all of a sudden my JCV titers doubled then my white counts went astronomical at the same time. They took me off of it immediately.. It can be really scary to be that sick and not have the ability to fight back. I was switched to Aubagio because there is no issue with the JCV thing.. but it didn't work for me.. Then i landed in the hospital with pneumonia around the time the COVID pandemic started.. I was so sick even WITH a pneumonia vaccination prior to then that I couldn't see straight.. Levaquin is one they give right away.. I have always gotten that for the pneumonia too.. it works quickly and has a high efficacy rate. So glad you are home now on the mend.. one day at a time.. Take care.. hope things continue to get better.

How grateful you must feel to have survived such an ordeal! Please continue to take care of your self, regaining your health. This painting is truly lovely! I wish reprints were available; I'd have a box of cards made to send when friends need some peace and serenity in their lives. The windmill reflection is so serene; looking at the image opens a calm space within. Well done.
