Two months ago I posted that I was hoping to be discharged from the hospital after surgery for a Trimalleolar Fracture of my left ankle. Well, I got my cast off last week and I am now in a boot although still not able to put full weight on it.
My husband surprised me with a knee scooter although I don't go anywhere.
I'm feeling very isolated and after getting a message from a friend just a little bit ago, I thought it was time for me to come back here.
Thank you Carol!

Welcome back MaggieT1 Glad you are feeling better. Very nice of your hubby to get you a knee scooter. Maybe he is trying to tell you it's time to get out of the house and go somewhere
Good to see your smiling face again. A little more patience and you will soon be able to put weight on your ankle. Let it heal properly and then you will be back in full swing. Knee scooters are fun, you just need the confidence to use one. Try it in the house and maybe gradually when you get the hang of it, you can venture further a field. Blessings Jimeka 🦋 🍫
