G'Day my ms family, perhaps I should have said toward something, not to something. Yes, we all have Relapsing-Remitting ms (RRms) and we travel our journey, along our own path, what is right for me may not be the direction “YOU” need to travel. Find help and a direction by looking at others, asking questions and awaiting your time. That time will come if “YOU” allow it. For some of us perhaps sooner, for others perhaps later. Do not fret, your path will show itself if “YOU” allow it. Sometimes, it may not be obvious, sometimes it is right in front of “YOU” and “YOU do not see it for many years. Relax what is meant to be, will be at the appropriate time.

We have many years ahead of us. Your life is not over because “YOU” have this condition. Your future and its many glorious possibilities lay ahead of “YOU”,. I feel that “YOU” do not have to search for them. Merely be open and willing to accept them when it shows itself. Look at RRms as a gift. Perhaps a two-sided gift, it may bite “YOU” very hard or it may just nip “YOU” a little to remind “YOU” to keep on your path and not to stand still for too long. Let there be purpose in your movement, in your actions. Move towards your goal, have a goal. Always be willing to change it if your circumstances change.

Be flexible, be strong, be determined. Change if “YOU” have too, change again and again. Embrace change, accept it as part of your life. Have very few things that “YOU” will not let go of. Follow your RRms path, accept and overcome its many obstacles. This is a life that “YOU” can live for as long as it takes. It will NOT beat “YOU”. “YOU” are so much better than “YOU” ever imagined. “YOU” have got this. “YOU” cam overcome any obstacle, it may just take a little time. This may be a long journey, BUT it is one that “YOU”, my ms sibling are ready and able to take.

With respect, I think there are a lot of people here who have transitioned to the progressive phase

That surprises me given that it is all one illness, it is progressive and currently incurable I don’t think I am the only one who has had Ms a long time and are in the secondary progressive phase

I think we all get value from your pep talks I was just sayin

Shiftms does also focus on newly diagnosed peeps and I’m sure they would appreciate your wise words regarding relapsing remitting ms
