Ocrevus and Covid

Good morning everyone! Has anyone been given advice from your doctor to not take Ocrevus while Covid is around?

Hi chairbear how are you today? And no, My neuro just had me get my Ocrevus infusion.☺️ He also told me to get the vaccine when I'm up for it.

Thank you for your reply! My Nuro has advised not to take Ocrevus because of recent statistics. I'm really not sure what to do.

No, just a hold off for now.

No, mine has said to keep up with the regular schedule unless I am sick and to take precautions like washing hands before eating or touching your face, wear a mask when in public, etc. I have had 2 infusions since the pandemic started and have had no problems.

My doc pushed out my dose two months due to uncertainty with COVID and a chronic cough I had developed. She felt comfortable doing so because my B call count stayed at zero. So I ended up getting the infusion, just a couple months late.

No, my doctor says that it’s just as important for me to treat my MS and to continue treatment as scheduled.
