This is a photo from that year's team, my largest ever as it was almost everyone I know that rides joined that year to support me. It was also kind of ironically funny as the head organizer emailed me the day I got out of the hospital after steroids and last of MRI s " she said Robert do you know how many people have been diagnosed with MS just since you signed up for the ride? " I answered no, but I know I am one of them. Robert

Isn’t it great to know you have that kind of support , everyone looks happy. 😊
Yes and thank you
That’s a lovely memory!! 🥰 I hope the others with MS are doing well.
Dear Kristi, in those days believe it or not the MS Society was not very supportive of us MSers riding on this ride( got better over time but at first I was strongly discouraged ) . Fortunately now they treat those of us that still ride as honored guests, custom jerseys and all . thanks Robert
Heck yeah they are honored guests! The challenge to get to participate for some with MS is something able bodied persons can’t handle. Rock stars! I’m glad to hear they have changed their attitude from fear to awe.
Must have been an awesome time! And in 2008.. was MS diagnosed often then? 🤔Great picture! 🤗💕🌠
Yes to all although there were only three readily available treatments in those ancient times and one if none of the other three worked for you. Thanks for the nice reply. Robert
Great picture
Thank you Robert
So my younger brother , who lives in Texas used to come up often to do the ride with my team, he took that picture and many others that are the best I have from those rides. I have never been able to take a decent photo. Robert
