2020 is history and 2021 is a mystery,I'll take that for now.another health expert on tv and said next christmas we will be back to normal, but still wearing those masks, a small price to pay!

bye bye 2020:)
Honestly, I'd take mask wearing every day for the next 5 years if it means that we can get back to even a little bit of normalcy! π
As I live in an area where not wearing a mask is seen as a political statement, and as I live in a state with still rising numbers of virus cases and deaths, and as it is likely to be a very very long time before sufficient numbers of people are vaccinated against the virus, I will wear my mask (not as a political statement, but just out of self interest), wash my hands frequently/sanitize them in the car after going to the market, pumping gas, avoid indoor crowds and for as long as I need to, do anything possible to avoid suffocating. There have been only a few times in my life when asthmatic spasms or pneumonia made me struggle to breathe. I do not want to die that way.
I hear ya- I have had back to back bouts of pneumonia and never want to re-live that (bedridden for 2 weeks, couldn't even get to the other side of my apartment without feeling like I was going to pass out, etc.).
Whatever your reasons, I am glad you are taking all the precautions you can to keep yourself safe π
happy new year
