Happy Turkey Day

A man was driving down a country road, when he saw a turkey ahead of him. As he passed the turkey, the bird turned and began to run alongside the car. The driver sped up, 50 MPH, 75, MPH and slowed down, 35 MPH, but no matter his speed, the turkey kept pace. As the car and turkey came around a bend in the road, the turkey turned and ran up a lane to a farmhouse. At that moment, the driver realized the turkey had three legs. He turned around and followed the turkey to the farmhouse. The farmer was outside, so the driver asked about the three legged bird. "Well," said the farmer, "my son went to an agricultural college. He bred these three legged turkeys because there are three of us in the family. We all like the drumstick best." "What a great idea," said the driver, "how do they taste?" "I don't know", said the farmer, "we've never been able to catch one."
